Grandma Dorothy's Visit

Nate's mom came out to visit a couple weeks ago. It was the best visit ever, with lots of relaxation and a couple fun excursions.

Dorothy let me get lots of sleep, and she took Beckett out everyday. He was so well behaved while she was here that I have decided I need to really make getting him out of the house everyday my top priority. He needs to run out his energy.

At the park with Grandma.
We took a trip to Fort McHenry on Memorial Day. They were flying a flag the size of the Star Spangled Banner. It was huge, and a park ranger told us that the flag was really only a medium size flag for the time period. Apparently they made really big flags in the 1800s.

We also went to the Baltimore Zoo. In April and May members of the B&O Railroad Museum can get into the zoo for free! We ate lunch while we watched the elephants. This one dunked his entire head under water.
Felix brought his zebra blanket to the zoo.
Beckett climbed into this kid-sized oriole nest.
We spent lots of time hanging out at home with the boys. They sure love their grandma.
