Growing

Felix is getting so big so quickly. It's ridiculous how fast he is growing.

Here he is at 3 weeks looking so tiny and tired.
At 4 weeks he already loved his bath.
He was 6 weeks on Easter. He was already looking so big.
Yesterday Felix was blessed at church. He was 8 weeks.

Felix was born with a full head of hair. Here he is at two weeks.
By 6 weeks Felix had lost all the hair on the top of his head. He was such a cute balding baby.
At 8 weeks that hair has already grown back.
It might not be as long as it was at 2 weeks, but he doesn't have a bald spot anymore.

Our babies love the changing table. Felix always wants to hang out there.
Felix also enjoys swinging, watching his mobile, and sitting in his bouncy seat.
Just look at that handsome baby.

Easter

We had such a fabulous Easter. I'll admit it was a bit stressful, what with juggling a 6-week-old, dinner, church, and choir, but it all turned out pretty perfect. The boys looked darling in their Easter outfits (pictures to come). I got to sing beautiful songs with the church choir. We had dinner with some good friends. And giving Beckett presents is a blast. ("Hiya Playdoh.")

The Easter basket with presents from Mom, Dad, and both sets of grandparents.

Ears on a baby.

We had dinner with the Lamborns. They have been so good to us. They live in our cul-de-sac, and their kids love playing with Beckett. I love having a friend so close.
Egg Hunt.
Max made this nest of eggs for Beckett to find. So cute and so nice.
It was a Happy Easter.

Visitors

We've been blessed with lots of visitors lately. (And one more to come!) First, my mom came back. It was so nice to have her back to help with the boys.

Felix, who has decided to be fussy and high maintenance, spent most of his time lying on his stomach on my mom's lap.

A few days after my mom left Brooke and Aaron came to visit. Brooke read Beckett Peak-a-Boo Bunny.
Aaron made cool car and train tracks for Beckett.
Aaron also let Beckett play with his iPad. Beckett thought that was about the best thing ever. It's amazing how well young children can navigate these electronics.
We showed Brooke and Aaron how to swaddle a baby. Felix, because he's decided to be fussy and high maintenance, spends a good portion of his life swaddled.
Felix smiles at Brooke.
