Camp Nauvoo

Here's what folks did for fun at Camp Nauvoo:

They played on the river. These rafts were pretty fun. When Nate and I tried them out we felt like Huckleberry Finn on the Mississippi. I might have sung a bit of "Old Man River" (also about the Mississippi but from the musical Showboat.)

The kids played on the playground.

And on Monday and Tuesday nights we had a campfire program. On Monday night Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's kids each got up to say something about their mom and dad. Then Grandma Jensen gave a little acceptance speech.

The next night we had a talent show.

In between amazing talent, like Savannah singing atop her father's shoulders, the grandkids got up to say something about their parents.

Watching the show:

Grandpa Jensen finished the night with some remarks.

If you're wondering what Aaron and Rod are doing on that raft, they're looking for Savannah's glass--a search that was both traumatic but successful in the end.
